Golden Qi Exercises – Fun & Health

This 8-hour seminar concentrates on the movement of specific joints such as in the hands and fingers, strength building, and energy development based on several different Tai Chi exercises and warmups, as well as input from physical therapists.

During the seminar, your TAMA Golden Qi instructors will cover the Golden Qi philosophy, safety and health issues for your students. Safety is what an instructor must always be aware and consider. We will cover the environment where you should teach a Golden Qi class and practical methodical teaching techniques.

The seminar includes the definition, health benefits, and practice of natural breathing as it applies to Golden Qi. You will also learn how to end your Golden Qi classes with the traditional salutations.

There are 21 different Exercises for Fun and Health. Each one is further broken down by as many as eighteen movements. These exercises include visualization meditation techniques. While the Golden Qi Butterfly Fan and Short Form are continuous, flowing movements, the 21 movements in Exercises for Fun and Health can be used individually or with the other Golden Qi forms. This particular seminar includes an Instructor’s Handbook, a seminar-based DVD, and a TAMA Certificate of Completion.

Golden Qi is the most popular activity in our community.

Good for people who can’t stand.  They can still exercise.  Good for joint flexibility and relieving carpal tunnel.  Teaches you how to breathe correctly.  Fan improves coordination.  The social aspect is good.
